James Barham, LMFT

Counseling Director

For James Barham, reconciliation is at the heart of ministry. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist with extensive education, including a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in 2000, a Master of Divinity from Truett Seminary in 2004 and a master’s degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2011. That’s also the year James joined our team. He serves in marriage and family counseling, family care, connected foster care and family homes, and especially loves seeing how God uses our Baptist Children’s Homes to restore families and children. James has been married to his wife, Mandi, since 2000. They have three children. When he’s not caring for others in the office, James takes care of things at home. His hobbies include bush-hogging and mending fences, plus deer and duck hunting. Contact James at jbarham@arkansasfamilies.org.
