Roger Langlie

Baptist Ranch Director

Who says you can’t come home?  Roger did just that in 2019.  A native of  Green Forest, Ark., Roger served for 25 years in ministry in The Pacific Northwest before he rejoined the Arkansas Baptist Ranch. In Oregon, he provided program development and executive leadership to a nonprofit providing residential behavioral rehabilitation, emergency shelter, and independent living services. He was a Rotarian, Gideon and served as a church deacon, Sunday School teacher and treasurer.  Roger is glad to be back home where he came to know Christ through the bus ministry of First Baptist Church in Green Forest. He went on to graduate from Willams Baptist College where he was first introduced to Arkansas Baptist Children’s Homes and served as a summer missionary. In his formative years, Roger served as a Ranch relief houseparent, caseworker and recreation director. He and his wife, Shelli, have seven children: Nicole (28), Noah (22), Daniel (19), Anna (18), Mary (16), Andrew (15), and Micah (12); and two grandchildren: Nolan (4), and Callie (2).
