Types of Opportunities
Volunteer Drivers
Tangible items are often needed to be delivered to families impacted by foster care or picked up from various locations and brought to our resource center. As a state-wide ministry, we also have essential items that need to be transported from one resource center or building to another
Activity Boxes
Connected Foster Care caseworkers often transport children to and from visitations or to various scheduled appointments. ABCFM currently has a need to regularly provide 20 caseworkers across the state with needed items that they can keep in their car for the child to have fun and stay occupied during times of transitions.
Friends of the Ministry
Consider becoming an official “friend” of the ministry, by using use your God-given talents, business expertise, hobbies or resources to help spread the outreach of this ministry. Staff Appreciation
Our organization includes caseworkers, social workers, counselors and advocates dedicated to meeting the needs of children and families in crisis. There are many themed months that emphasize the opportunity to appreciate these individuals who work tirelessly in Connected Foster Care & Adoptions, Desired Haven Family Care, and Living Well Counseling.
