Who We Are

OUR MISSION AND MINISTRY

Our Story

SERVING ARKANSAS CHILDREN AND FAMILIES SINCE 1894

In 1894, God led Hannah Hyatt to donate her home and farm to Arkansas Baptists as a home for vulnerable children. What began in the heart of one woman, has expanded over 125 years later to multiple Christ-centered divisions across the state serving Arkansas families. As the ministry of Arkansas Baptist Children & Family Ministries has grown over the years, the mission has remained the same: healthy families for healthy futures.

Our Mission Is Strong Families.

STRONG FAMILIES MAKE STRONG FUTURES.

Our mission is to build, strengthen, and restore Arkansas families. We are compelled by the Gospel to pursue justice for the children and families of Arkansas. Family is the foundation of healthy childhoods, healthy churches and healthy communities. Families are in a battle for health, hope and wholeness. They cannot face the battle alone. We are here to hold up the family. We are here to stand with them and for them, giving families the strength needed to succeed.
