God has a great compassion for hurting hearts. He demonstrates his passion for the brokenhearted over and over again throughout the Bible. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” Psalms 34:18. He knows our hearts. He sees our hearts. “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me-“ John 10:13. He is not surprised by us when we feel overwhelmed with the struggles of this world. He knows we live in a fallen world. That is why He sent his Son to us! His plan for our lives is to “build one another up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11), “bear one another’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2), and to “encouraged one another daily” (Hebrews 3:13). It is truly amazing to be a part of the body of Christ!  I am a licensed professional counselor. I grew up in rural North Central Arkansas where I now live with my husband of 26 years. We have three amazing adult children.

Elizabeth’s hope in life is to help others live their lives experiencing the joy, peace and freedom that comes from knowing Christ.  There are times when life gets difficult, hurt occurs, or struggles come along side you; and in those times it can be difficult to remember the promises of Christ, much less easily walk in them.  Elizabeth works with clients to help them find hope and healing. Using clinical strategies and the love of Christ, Elizabeth counsels clients of all ages who are having issues with depression, anxiety, anger, adjustment, grief, trauma, crisis of faith, and relational problems.   In 2010, Elizabeth graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene Texas, with a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development.  She has served alongside her husband in pastoral ministry within the local church for nearly 20 years. 5 years ago, her husband was called to serve as the pastor of a church in El Dorado Arkansas. They, and their three children moved from her home state of Texas and now proudly call Arkansas home!    Elizabeth is now and LAC in AR and genuinely feels blessed that she is able to help and encourage people in their time of need! The Lord has given Elizabeth a compassionate heart toward other pastoral families.  If you are a pastor, pastor’s wife, or a child of a pastor, she wants to encourage you with Galatians 6:9-10 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.  So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”  If you have a personal struggle that you are dealing with or a hurt you are processing, she would be honored to walk beside you and help you find hope, healing and restoration while staying faithful to Christ and His calling on your life with every step.

Tabatha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After receiving her master’s degree in social work in 2010, Tabatha worked in community mental health, serving children, teens and their families, and offered counseling services on college campuses. Her clinical practice has included focused experience treating anxiety and stress, mood disturbances, trauma, grief, and interpersonal conflict. Tabatha is also passionate about coming alongside those in the adoption triad and foster care families. Tabatha began her relationship with Christ in 2015 when He opened her eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Experiencing the Lord’s transformative work in her own heart changed not only her personal trajectory but also her professional trajectory. Her faith is now foundational to her practice. It is her mission to share Christ and the peace He brings with everyone in her life (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). Tabatha considers it a great joy to witness how the Lord is more than able to give us what we really need: to heal our hearts with the gospel, to transform our minds with the perspective of His Word, and to help us through life's circumstances for His glory and our good (Ephesians 3:20-21). What a gift that He gives us one another and His church to help us as we walk through the hardships that life sometimes bring. Tabatha’s philosophy is to journey alongside her clients towards the wholeness, hope and peace that God alone gives. Tabatha and her husband have been married since 2008 and have three elementary age kiddos. Together they enjoy time with friends, serving at church, baseball games, motorcycle rides, gardening, or reading books on the couch.

Madeline loves people and desires to walk alongside them as they follow their counseling journeys. She recognizes Scripture to be the ultimate source of truth, and Matthew 11:28-30 is the foundation of her counseling work: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. With a background in Law Enforcement, the Military, Church Ministry, and experience living overseas, Sean's life experiences have enabled him to walk alongside a diverse group of peoples. The verse from scripture that guides Sean's heart for counseling ministry comes from the book of Matthew: "When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." (Matthew 9:36-38) This verse is meaningful to Sean because it rightly communicates the compassion of Jesus, the need for shepherding ministry in the context of Christian Counseling and sobering awareness of the overwhelming needs all around us in this sin broken world. Sean desires to closely walk alongside his clients as well as equip and encourage others that are engaged in counseling as a ministry. Sean received his undergraduate degrees in Pastoral Ministry and Speech Communication from Ouachita Baptist University and dual master's degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling and Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Sean has specialized training in Trauma (EMDR Certified Provider/ TFCBT) and Couples counseling (In process of certification as an Emotionally Focused Therapy Supervisor). Sean has been married to his wife, Dana, for 24 years and they have two children (Hannah and Elim) and 1 grandchild (Selah). When away from work, Sean enjoys spending time with his family, reading a good book or spending time outdoors.

You may have arrived at counseling because you find yourself at a point in your life where you have tried everything you know to do and are out of ideas to move forward whether it is in relationships with family, as a couple, or within yourself. You might be encountering new life transitions that are hard to maneuver or experiencing grief, anxiety or sadness that is overwhelming, or feel an inability to overcome an issue or situation that is getting in the way of moving forward in your life. At Living Well Counseling you have come to a safe place to find compassion and grace. Kathy Dewbre has experience working with children, adolescents, teens, adults, families, couples, and groups. She will work alongside you to try and see the dynamics and patterns of relationships in a system, to find safety in connections, and to experience hope in new healthier ways of living and relating. Working with couples and families in ministry is a special part of her counseling work. God sent his Son so we can experience truth and grace. Her hope is to reflect those same things in the counseling experience. She holds an MS in Marriage & Family Therapy, Community Counseling and School Counseling from John Brown University. Her undergraduate degree is from Ouachita Baptist University in Elementary Education. Kathy is the eighth of nine children from an Iowa farm family. She has since made her home on 3 continents and understands cross-cultural stress and life transitions from personal experience. She and her husband, Steve, have been in various church and mission ministries for 40+ years, serving many years in overseas missionary service. She has been an elementary teacher and a school guidance counselor in middle and elementary school.
