Tim Noel, MDiv.

DIRECTOR OF CHURCH PARTNERSHIP

Tim is an Arkansas native from Paragould. Tim was raised in a strong Christian family and at the age of 8, his father led him to faith in Christ. While working in a trade career as a journeyman plumber and serving in lay leadership at his home church, Tim accepted God’s call on his life and surrendered to the ministry in August 2002 at his home church, East Side Baptist Church of Paragould. Tim obtained his Graduate of Theology from Wilmington School of the Bible, his Bachelor of Science in Religion, and his Masters of Divinity from Liberty University.

Tim has served in church ministry for 19 years, with the last 14 years at Trinity Baptist Church in Searcy, AR, and 11 of those as the senior pastor. He and his wife, Heather, have a passion for children and families across Arkansas who need support and love. His family was a foster family for 3 years. He has served on the White County Child Safety Center Board for 4 years and was the Chaplain for the Arkansas House of Representatives for two terms. A journey God has been preparing for years, Tim is excited to see his relationship with this ministry come full circle. During his years as a student pastor, he brought his student ministry to serve at Arkansas Baptist Homes for Children, which planted the seed in the heart of his family to begin fostering. His passion to serve pastors and to equip churches in strengthening families are uniquely combined for this role, “There has never been a greater time to bring hope and the comfort of God’s love to our communities. I am excited to join the staff of Arkansas Baptist Children’s Home & Family Ministries as we partner with Arkansas Baptists in this effort. Over the past eleven years of pastoring, I have been reminded of the eternal role the local church plays in the community. I am thrilled beyond measure for the opportunity to love on the pastors and churches in our state. In partnering with Arkansas Baptist Churches, we want to encourage and renew the hearts of God’s people to impact their communities with the hope of Christ.”

Tim’s wife, Heather, joined the ABCH team in 2019 as a Connected Caseworker and has been on our Mission Advancement Team as Content Manager since 2020. Tim and Heather have three children: Eli, who is in the US Navy, Abbigail is in college pursuing social work, and their youngest, Evan, is a junior in high school. Tim is a fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals and enjoys woodworking, playing golf, and fishing.
